After serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Biomass Research Center, he was appointed Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and later served as a Director at Biomaterial in Tokyo Co., Ltd.
In April 2021, he founded Agro Ludens Co., Ltd.
He has been involved in biofuel-related projects promoted by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and has achieved research results. He holds a PhD in Agricultural and Life Sciences from The University of Tokyo.
