In 2021, Agroludens Co., Ltd. was established with the aim of creating new food and energy resources and realizing a sustainable society through the development of a rice-based bioeconomy.
Its origin lies in the "rice residue" left over from sake brewing in Cambodia.

"Isn’t there any way to create a new value with koji, instead of just throwing away the leftover rice?"
This idea led to the experimentation of fermentation, resulting in the birth of "Comeat®," a new fermented food with a meat-like texture and umami flavor.

We continue to work towards building a sustainable manufacturing system with minimal environmental impact, through the introduction of carbon-neutral technologies .
